And children clamoring to be fed. Desire to sit and feel the morning breeze. Not clean up the dishes, unload the dishwasher, or any of these. Peas on the floor, baby’s diaper full. And the mounds of laundry unavoidable. I sigh, and look at a book or my bed. With a mind longing to be fed. A body that is just plain tired, feeling like lead.
