Kevin became ill when he was on holiday in August 2008, just over two weeks after celebrating his fiftieth birthday. He spent a total of 129 days in the Hospital, 117 of those in Critical Care and 12 days in the Haematology Unit where his treatment for the Lymphoma was directed. Kevin succumbed to his illness on 17th December, 2008. He was in the prime of his life, with many dreams and ambitions for himself personally, and professionally for Cello Group.
