Tuesday, January 19, 2010. What we've been up to lately. Eating avocado's and saying mmmmm. Atigun loves his new quilt. Meme pieced it together and we both quilted on it. Atigun wanted to help sew the binding on. Gina and Sean Vance came for a visit! We had so much fun playing. I made this quilt for my friend Val's baby Ayla. It was super fun to put together. Wish I could take credit for the idea but I got it from here the Sweet Shoppe blog. Can't wait for the rain to clear up so we can go back.

Tuesday, January 1, 2008. Lotus Flower Wall hanging. I started this while I was in Flagstaff and finished it up today. I used a combination of fabric I have been holding onto and one only satin pillow case. I added some beads to a few of the flowers. I like doing these smaller projects just as much a larger ones. I like something I can do in a day. This picture is before I sewed on the flowers. 160; . Here is it all finished. I used the satin pillow case as. How it frays with age.

Wednesday, April 4, 2012. I've been trying so hard to get this ski adventure documented because it was the first time for Jaxon on skis. He was 5 months younger than the first time we put Kaleb on skis so we weren't sure what to expect. I am happy to say that he pretty much rocked it! If you have small children and are planning to take/teach them to ski here are a few do's and don'ts: (through trial and error of course). 7 Let go of your expectations. We celebrated with a cake, which he ate none of, and then went on a 4 day mini-vacation to Coure D' Alene playing in the lake, taking in Silverwood and the Splash Park, eating out and just enjoying the 100 degree weather at the end of a crazy-busy summer.
