The Doe Family: June 2011
http://doefamily.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Sunday, June 26, 2011. My promise to you. Last summer my mother-in-law handed me a book to read when I was visiting the family in Washington. I read the intro and the first half of the first chapter and stopped. I felt sick. The book was called " Renting Lacy. And it was the story of human trafficking. I learned all kinds of new words that I just didn't want to know and heard stories that I just didn't want to think about. They were gross and evil. I shouldn't fill my head with them, right? I'm telling y...

The Doe Family: April 2011
http://doefamily.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Wednesday, April 20, 2011. Micah turned one on April 14th! I remember being so nervous about having a boy after growing up with so many girls! Having a little boy is my favorite. I adore our little man and I'm so thankful the JOY he brings to all of us. Papa Roger was in town from Michigan so it made it a little more special. It was nice to have family here to celebrate with us! Here's our little buddy first thing on his birthday morning! Big sister, Sophia, loves being in the kitchen. Kinda sad isn't it?

Thursday, April 26, 2012. Siesta Scripture Memory Team Celebration. 16% of us who started at the beginning of 2011 finished the task. I celebrated with four beautiful and amazing women from AZ. We moved from AZ to Frisco February 2011 to plant a church. Leaving my church was hard. Leaving my family was hard, but I know that they are constant. I will always see them. When Robin suggested that we five friends do this just before I moved, I loved the idea. The idea of checking in no matter what every 1.

The Doe Family: July 2011
http://doefamily.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
Thursday, July 28, 2011. This past February, I ran into my great friend from high school, Lindsay. We got caught up on life. I told her we were moving to Dallas and she told me that she was planning on opening a children's clothing showroom at the Dallas Market and in need of a Showroom Manager. I said I was absolutely interested and I was hired! I didn't even have to interview! It's going to be crazy fun and a perfect part time job for this mama! It's a whole new world that I can't wait to learn about!

Thursday, April 26, 2012. We had a fabulous first Easter service at Frisco Fields Church. We celebrated with great new and old friends. A big storm came through as we were packing up the church trailer. We had to wait a few hours to do an egg hunt in the backyard. We love having Auntie Ashie so close to celebrate holidays with us! Thursday, October 20, 2011. Pumpkins, Grandparents and Longhorns. While Papa Roger and Grandma Connie were here visiting we went to the pumpkin patch. Sophia was not too keen on feeding the animals. We picked out five small pumpkins and one big pumpkin to carve. And we went on a hayride. Are these not the cutest siblings you have ever seen? Jared fed a Longhorn. He's finally a Texan. More pics from the day under the Shutterfly section. Posted by Doe Family. Micah is officially and year and half! We made ...

The Doe Family: Merry Christmas!
http://doefamily.blogspot.com/2012/04/merry-christmas.html
Thursday, April 26, 2012. We prepared ourselves for a Christmas that was going to look very different from every Christmas we've shared with our families. I think we did a pretty good job about being intentional with new traditions and memories. Instead of a big baking day with all of the sisters, aunts, cousins and mom, we had our own little baking day. Dad even helped out in the kitchen. He would point at every new house "dis" "dis" "dis". this, this this. Posted by Doe Family. View my complete profile.
