Onsdag, juni 07, 2006. Tirsdag, 6. juni. Venter på udskiftningen. Vi blev alligevel ikke hentet i dag. Flyvningen blev aflyst, da vejret på Station Nord var tvivlsomt. Vejrudsigten til i morgen er dog gunstig. Vi fik opvarmede rester til frokost. Claude lavede natmad: Kinesisk æggesuppe og ris og stegte rejer og grøntsager med nødder, fint krydret. Saturday, June 17, 2006. Friday 16th June.: Tangled cable. To our great surprise we woke up to yet another sunny "day" with good cold temperatures. This was the day we would beat the record and drill and process even more than 30 m! It all went fine until after lunch when the cable on the winch became completely tangled up! We had real tortillas with chilli beans for lunch (chef Trevor) and a pork roast with potatoes for supper with raspberry-paste for dessert (chef Bo). Posted by ICEBLOG @ 3:31 PM.

Vi fik fred i fire timer. Kl 22 onsdag aften kom snestormen igen. Det stormede hele natten og hele torsdag med. Wednesday, June 07, 2006. Tuesday, 6. June. Waiting for the take-over. There was no exchange of personnel after all today. The plane to St Nord was cancelled because the weather was marginal. The forecast for tomorrow looks good though. We had warmed-up leftovers for lunch. Claude prepared late-night food: Chinese egg-soup, rice, fried prawns and vegetables with nuts.
