Kyila had a great time and won a toy snake, frog and spinning top. Momma and Poppa spent the two hours at the Galleria in Edina looking at furniture and kitchen items at Crate and Barrel. Eye on the Kuhns. Friday, November 5, 2010. Angler in the Making. Better late then never . Anyway I really enjoyed my time practicing and both the girls would come out and give it a shot as well. Both were naturals.much better than the old man at least. Dad and I didn't catch many fish but sure enjoyed the time together and learning more about casting. I caught one bluegill. Dad caught a few including a nice catfish. Enough with words. Lets get to the photos. My first Small Mouth Bass. Eye on the Kuhns.

Eye on the Kuhns. Monday, July 19, 2010. Well it was a great family vacation in Duluth this year. Pat and Tim rented a house on the isthmus on Lake Superior. We had gorgeous views of the lake right from the front room of the house and just a quick walk across the backyard to get to the sandy shores. We enjoyed a scenic trolley ride of the city, the Aquarium on the Lake, the Look-out Tower and eating S'mores around the fire pit. What can't be put into words I will leave for pictures! Eye on the Kuhns.

Eye on the Kuhns. Saturday, July 17, 2010. It was a short trip this year back to ole' T-Town. It was nice that much of the Kuhn Family could be there. I can't believe that none of us said that we needed to take a family photo. There were several good picture of Stella and more importantly ME! Then it was on to Grandma Kuhn's, we all made the journey over to Topeka. I am not sure I have ever seen such a big smile on Grandma's face. Sure was nice to see. A few more pics for everyone to enjoy!

A journal of our adventures. Sunday, December 30, 2012. Summer in The Hills. We spent the middle of 2012 driving around, hiking, and camping in the Black Hills. Here are a few of the highlights. In May we explored a section of the Centennial Trail. A 111 mile trail marking the 100th anniversary of South Dakota statehood (1889-1989). There is a trail head about 20 minutes from our house! We enjoyed lazy days at Mom's house and special time with family and tradition in Topeka. Rick helped Uncle Jim fix some family recipes, including noodles, dressing, and meatballs. We took a hike along Iron Creek to enjoy the views. In October we rode our 4-wheeler to Nemo for lunch. It was 2 hours over on parts of the Centennial Trail and 20 minutes back on the gravel roads! A journal of our adventures. Wednesday, August 18, 2010. Rick and I did a 2-night backpack trip into Merriam Lake in the Lost River Range, which contains the highest peak in Idaho - Mt. Borah - at 12,668 ft. http:/ en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Borah Peak. But that's another story. Back to Merriam. The drive is quite long, and very rough in the end, from Boise.
