new big idea: Jolly Old St. Nicholas...
http://newbigidea.blogspot.com/2009/12/jolly-old-st-nicholas.html
Wednesday, December 9, 2009. Jolly Old St. Nicholas. Now, first off, to each his own. About whether or not to tell your kids about Santa Claus but in case you are a fence sitter I decided to share why I love sharing the idea of Santa Claus with my kids. Here are a couple quotes from random people I found on some forum. Some things are difficult to teach. Like altruism, unconditional love, dedication to a cause, sacrifice, etc. Santa Clause is spiriturly real, he is the spirit of giving.". Smith said that...

new big idea: April 2009
http://newbigidea.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, April 30, 2009. So, before I start posting any pics - let's recall what I was doing one year ago today. Minus a day). I was celebrating my 8th wedding anniversary only days before my baby was to be born. And a year before that I was recuperating from losing a pregnancy. My how much has happened in the last 24 months! But this time around I am celebrating the one week birthday of my newest son Asher Edward Knorpp. Here are some images:. And finally I gave up because he was getting so bugged and ...

new big idea: Movie Review - Last Chance Harvey
http://newbigidea.blogspot.com/2009/05/movie-review-last-chance-harvey.html
Sunday, May 24, 2009. Movie Review - Last Chance Harvey. One of my favorite parts of the movie was to see their paths cross several times before they actually meet - like they are fated to be together - drawn to one another. I like to think about how Mike and I were complete strangers when we met and how we had no idea of the future that lay before us. It's sweet and often deeply moving. I love that you are doing these movie reviews! May 24, 2009 at 7:34 PM. Ooooh - i remember seeing previews for this in...

new big idea: June 2009
http://newbigidea.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
Friday, June 19, 2009. Marisa and I started our Backyard Farming blog. And we are slowly getting more and more people coming to the blog and sharing their wonderful blogs with us. I am really impressed by all of the people out there who are rebelling against this new food system and are returning the way it was before the second world war. Did you know that the way we eat has changed more in the last 50 years than in the 10,000 years before that? I really want to get taken out! Links to this post. Ps Sor...

cha-cha-boom!: peanut butter cups.
http://cha-cha-boom.blogspot.com/2008/05/peanut-butter-cups.html
For the more frivolous things. Thursday, May 1, 2008. Sometimes when I make something from scratch, it causes me to yell, "Why not! So yes, why go out and buy overly salty junky Reese's cups when you can get that kind of reaction for such little work. I delivered these to friends in paper bags I cropped with my scalloped scissors. Couldn't have been easier. 1 bag of really good milk chocolate chips. 1 cup really good nothing added peanut butter. 1/2 cup confectioner's sugar. May 7, 2008 at 12:57:00 AM MDT.

cha-cha-boom!: the girls room.
http://cha-cha-boom.blogspot.com/2010/01/girls-room.html
For the more frivolous things. Thursday, January 14, 2010. I am in the middle of planning a redesign of our bedroom since we finally have a bed! While looking for a new light fixture for our ceiling, I came across this. I have dreamt of for the past year and was unfortunately making it difficult by referring to them as nightstands. Heaven forbid. These are quite a bit overpriced if you ask me, so I will probably try the thrift store route if I can get lucky. But you get the idea. View my complete profile.
