Saturday, September 11, 2010. Information Literacy Skills Development. Students in my 8th grade class a working collaboratively now to develop their own experimental designs, wherein in they utilize a Google Doc to share information and communicate thoughts. The Google Doc evolves over several days to reflect my comments, then the students' responses to my comments in the form of revisions, and finally into actually collecting data, analyzing data, concluding and publishing as an electronic Lab Report.

Monday, March 22, 2010. I love Google Docs. So excellent and so transparent. I can have students working on research papers online have those shared with me such that I can make comments throughout the research and writing process. This would be great for the students to be able to make adaptations and edits during the process instead of having a large lag time while waiting for an essay to be returned to them needing corrections.
