Saturday, December 21, 2013. We had three concerts this year! Sometimes these things can be a bit stressful- getting to where we need (on time! With often very limited parking, wrangling younger/non-participating children during, etc.- but it's always fun watching my kiddos perform. Our first concert was Eva's school performance with the rest of the 1st grade. She was really excited about getting to wear a Hawaiian costume. All of Mrs. Christensen's students. Sunday, December 7, 2014. Up Up Up, Up in Balloon, Up so High I can touch the moon.". I knew David was super excited about this trip, and I thought it was all about the Paragliding. But this boy had more surprises every day! One of them was a stop at this interesting place called Kapadokya (Cappadocia) What a strange place to visit. There is another post just on that town so I won't go into details here. I was told it looked like something from Star Wars, so the suspense was there! Funny, don't you think?

Friday, November 26, 2010. Last weekend we took a fun random vacation down to Arizona to visit some family and enjoy the warmth (only to come back to freezing Utah.). We had a great time with my sister and some cousins! We stayed a few nights with my sister, Liz, and her husband, "Dr." Jon. Gladly, we took advantage of the warm weather and enjoyed the pool! Nathan loves the water! We stopped by to visit some of Jon's cousins. The Bouses have to be some of my favorite people ever! It was a lot of fun!

Friday, August 31, 2012. Brothers, water, friends, summer. My boys :). Fun in brigham city with grandma and grandpa Rollins! We had the wonderful chance to walk through the brigham city temple during the open house yesterday. Nate asks me almost daily if he is big enough to go to the temple yet. Well, yesterday he was! We had an amazing experience. Nate loved it all and Jackson was fascinated by the chandeliers, was so happy and waived at all the ushers. I love the temple! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

We weren't sure if we'd be participating this year because there was a new race (Mule Deer Dash) near Tonasket, which we thought we might do instead, but a few crazy last minute plan changes kept us near home. He certainly doesn't get the prize for best sleeper (at least not yet.hoping things change soon), but that's probably the case because he just loves to be cuddled and for the most part I'm plenty happy to oblige. Saturday, November 23, 2013. So a month ago Troy went trout fishing with Greg on the Columbia. The trout tend to be extra big around there because of a hatchery of sorts in the area. This is the "big fish" Troy caught then. The fish bate hopped from Greg's to Troy's line, but Troy got the actual snag. We got a couple of good fillets off of that trout, and we had a great dinner that night. Nice size even for a salmon. Hard to imagine it was a trout. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
