Monday, December 19, 2016. 182: current thoughts on singleness as an identity. Well, first off, this Sunday will be my 31st Christmas spent as a single. So, you could say singleness has rather solidified as the norm. Someone somewhere told me once that the 30s are better than the 20s because in your 20s you are still finding yourself (or whatever), and everything is still a struggle and in flux, but in your 30s things settle down. I'm very familiar with it. Does Michelle = single? Am I my singleness?
