Sunday, August 15, 2010. Hopefully, you have seen the movie. With Morgan Freeman and Matt Damon. It's a pretty good movie. I haven't heard how Nelson Mandela is in real life, but Freeman portrays him as probably the most Christ-like leader I have ever seen depicted in film. It was pretty inspiring to me. They are so generous and lots of fun. The wake surf was a new big hit. Parker held the record for longest surf without the rope. The men were jealous and kept trying to make him fall. Sunday, February 5, 2012. For Thanksgiving we decided to head out to Bryson City, North Carolina and spend the holiday in the Great Smokey Mountain National Park. We met up with some friends, the Piepgrass family. We stayed in a great little cabin and had a great time RELAXING. Exploring around outside the cabin. Next year we'll have to make it out earlier for the leaves. Claire modeling infront of our cabin. Hiking. the weather was beautiful. At the General Store. Maybe someday we can afford to go there!

Monday, July 9, 2012. Our first Santa Lucia 2011. Some of my earliest memories of Christmas is doing Santa Lucia (or St Lucia) with my family. This comes from my Swedish heritage. This year, we did Santa Lucia with Benson and Claire for the first time. They were so excited. We invited friends over and made real Swedish saffron buns and pepparkakor (gingerbread).
