Kenya A. Smith, Program Treasurer, is an inaugural member beginning her participation in 1992. She. In June of 2001, Kenya moved back to the District of Columbia. Currently, she is Director of College Counseling at Edmund Burke School, an active member of St. George’s Episcopal Church and Treasurer of the Kwanzaa Kitchen. In her free time, Kenya enjoys all types of music, cooking, dancing and life itself. The Kwanzaa kitchen has been a source of fulfillment and inspiration to her.
