Sophie Drouin: Mosaic
http://kwsviolin.blogspot.com/2008/07/sophie-has-worked-feverishly-on-this.html
Violin, Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony. My parents were much taken aback when, for my fourth birthday, I asked for a prospector’s rock hammer. They responded by getting me violin lessons instead, thinking that for a child my age, music was a less hazardous field than rock-smashing…. Visit Sophie at www.sophiemosaics.com. Sophie has worked feverishly on this one-of-a-kind mosaic chair. A step apart from her usual mosaic subject matter, this chair inspires awe in everyone who sees it.
