The kids enjoyed Grandma and Grandpa. A beautiful rainbow we saw the other day. We had a party for Patrick's 4th birthday last week. Sharon made car birthday cake. I can't believe Patrick is 4. Patrick had a fun party with a bunch of friends. Cubs game this summer. I think the kids loved the train more than the game. The cubs got wasted.

Carrie and I were married in this same temple 28 years earlier (December 17, 1980). Boy how time flies! What a blessing to add Chris Munday to the Olson family. It's not easy for a dad to see his little angel grow up and get married, so this dance was touching for me. What an wonderful day for us as parents! I love the posts!

Hmm Looks like I failed in teaching Jace the lesson that, when riding full speed across the salt flats, you don't grab your brakes when you all the sudden hit a muddy patch. Lesson learned! That's OK, Jace, Keller had to learn this same lesson the last time we crossed the salt flats. What a great father and son group (Olson's, Stoddard's, Perry's, Howes', Prescott, Hazen and Hazen). Now, if Brent could just keep up with us!
