Monday, October 20, 2008. We hadn't been to the mountains since 2002! So we decided to take Georgie to our favorite "get away weekend". Boone, NC is about 3 1/2 hours from our house. We went their on our honeymoon and just about every year between 1996 and 2002. So it was long over due. The main place we visited was Tweetsie Railroad. It is an amusment park, however it is set in and "old timey" town. There is a full size train that goes all around and it comes complete with cowboys and indians!

Sunday, June 29, 2008. What a fun weekend we had! Saturday we went to cousin Victoria's 2 nd. Party Sunday we went to Marble's Kids Museum with Madison and her mommy. Then we celebrated Grandpa's 65 th. Which is on the 1st)! Like his cousins he is now into the IPOD. He discovered it today and was dancing away. He wants the Wiggle's. Monday, July 14, 2008. Back from NY.again! Back in N. Carolina and starting to get back into our routine. Had a surprise trip to NY last week. It was great being back so soon.even though we had to go up for a funeral. Georgie had a blast with all his family and friends in NY :-) All we hear about is Michael and Matthew! Saturday, August 23, 2008. Well Georgie had a blast last night! We took him to see the Wiggles at the convention center. Until they actually came out on stage I don't think he realized they weren't going to be on a screen. LOL. He sang and cheered and kept waving and yelling hi to them. Well worth going too. :-). Sunday, April 27, 2008. Georgie had a great Saturday at Madison's 3rd Birthday party. They played outside and chased bubbles. Georgie even nicely spilled his dinner plate for Tex to clean up. He is now(pretend) napping to rest up to go to Aunt Holly's for a picnic dinner. :). The last week or so all he says he wants is a hamburger (not sure where he learned this from). Wednesday, October 1, 2008. We took Georgie to the movie theater. For the first time this past weekend. I had my doubts, but a co worker told George they put a bucket of popcorn on their 3 yr olds. Lap and he sits fine. Seeing that Georgie loves popcorn we thought we'd give it a try. We took him to the $1.50 theater. Foo Panda. We figured if it didn't work we wouldn't be out to much! Well it went soooo. The movie was really cute too! We are definitely looking forward to doing it again :-).
