We had a very special day for the babies on July13th when we got to bless them. Jake did such a great job and I can imagine it had be nerve-wracking having to do two back to back! My Mom got Elle's dress and then I found Emmett's at the same place I got Reid's when he was blessed. I made her headband for her. I'm so happy that I've made it to 33 weeks! I wasn't sure that I was going to even make it to 30, so this has been such a HUGE blessing and surprise! As of Monday, I was somewhere between 4-5 cms, so I'm still quietly progressing, which is a little stressful because once I do go into labor, it'll likely happen really quickly and the hospital is almost 30 minutes away. I'm feeling very thankful for my sweet boys today. Jake was off dirt biking over the weekend, surrounded by the flood, behind roads that eroded, fell into the river and out of cell range, while Reid and I were here in Calgary watching the news, filling Tupperware tubs with water and hoping for the best! Tuesday, May 24, 2016. I can't believe my little girl is 8 years old. In our religious community, turning 8 is a big deal because children can choose to be baptized once they have turned 8. A few little things that Reid says that I want to remember. He's speaking really well now, but there are a few funny words that he's put his own spin on that I'm sure will be remedied any day now. Or-jen or O-jern = Orange. Meenka = his little monkey that he sleeps with. Flops = his flip flops. Cake cake = pancakes or any cake for that matter. Pad pad = iPad. I'm scary = I'm scared. Reid - 18 months. I feel like I've been slacking a little on the monthly updates, so here is my little mister at 18, almost 19 months. These are just a few things I want to remember about this past month, so bear with me! He's started talking now here and there and is completely entertaining each and every day. He's such a happy boy! He's jumped up in the height and weight again and is a solid little dude. When he says hi, he says like a question, "Hiii? And you get the idea, all the while waving at her:).
