At first it frustrated me, now I see that God always keeps His promises and that His plan is best. Monday, October 31, 2011. I Hit The Jackpot! This year we decided to scale back our trick-or-treating efforts (usually we end up with a bucket of miscellaneous leftover candy that eventually gets thrown away). So we thought that we would keep with tradition and still go through the 20 some houses (mansions) in the gated community, where Eminem and 50 cent are rumored to own homes. Monday, June 13, 2011. Hannah and Elijah on the last day of school! Check out how much they have grown since the first day. My Kids are Awesome! Another year is over, and I am so proud of my children! They have once again amazed me with how great they are! They have excelled in school, socially and academically! It makes a mom so proud! Monday, May 7, 2012. Chalk it up as a success. Tonight I tried my hand at hair chalking. I saw this great idea while on pinterest. Since I am always up for something a little adventurous, and let's be honest it helps that this is not permanent. So tonight I tried three colors of chalk. Friday, June 8, 2012. Today is another last.last day of school! I love summer. I begin counting down the days until summer shortly after the New Year begins. I love everything about summer- swimming, laying in the sun, picnics in the backyard, sandals, shorts, tanning oil- but what I love most, is spending the long, lazy days of summer with my kids and husband! Wednesday, September 28, 2011. This is our little guy! He came August 16th and weighed 8 lb 5 oz! He was about 3 weeks early and a good thing! I would have had an 11 lb baby if I had gone until Sept 1st! We are LOVING every minute of this baby! I can't believe how lucky I am to have him. I just sit and stare at him all day.
