Wednesday, December 22, 2010. Our neighbors and their church also do a nativity scene outside of the clubhouse so Colby got to go see baby Jesus. He covered up baby Jesus so that he wouldn't get cold and he sang "Happy Birthday" to Jesus. It was very sweet. Tuesday, December 25, 2012. Ella's birthday is Christmas Eve. Poor kid. I guess the good part is that she has a few different birthdays: one for friends before everyone heads home for winter break, one for extended family whenever we see them, and one on her actual birthday. These are all followed immediately by Christmas. December 26 will be a real let down when she realizes that getting presents everyday isn't something to get used to.
