Tuesday, 13 January 2009. Is a French designer. I came across his work in a book called Data Flow and thought it was really quirky and inspirational and wanted to check out more of his work, not just that featured in the book. A cipher is transmuted to an alphabet. The outline of a font is traced using wool. The lengths of wool are then displayed as a new alphabet, creating a typographic, machine readable code based on distances and proportions. Very clever idea.so simple, yet so complicated.
