Thursday, January 10, 2013. A little set back. If you have ever herd how expensive it is to adopt you might have a mini heart attack. (I am going through a big one). We had our phone call with our social worker with american adoptions and she informed us that there is a fee that we thought was included in all the other fees. It is not like a little measly membership fee or registration fee this is huge! 10,000 dollars huge! That doesn't include the other fees this one just sets us back). So sorry, Kylee!

Things quite didn't turn out as planned things changed for the better and some I am still deciding why they changed. Its ok though a new year, new things will come new adventures new trips and new goals. We had a few people over and celebrated the new year. Went shooting with family and friends New Years day. Added to our family with a little friend. We named pepper. Got a lot of snow.

I had even tried sneaking in some last minute study time the night before (I know.something you shouldn't do the night before a big test.but I couldn't help myself :) ) and I still did not feel confident at all that I would pass! We started celebrating early by having dinner with his family and then dinner with mine and then Rick and I went to Vegas on his actual birthday. We wanted to go ice skating but it was closed:( So we went to the Cheesecake Factory, Stratosphere, and shopping instead. We had tons of fun! Rick getting ready to blow out his candles. Which by the way he couldn't do with one breath on either cake because he's getting so old:) ha.

Tuesday, April 7, 2015. Here are the highlights from winter - if you can even call it that - I do believe this was the warmest winter on record! I guess I should say highlights from January to March. Right after Christmas, I started watching my friends little boy 3 days a week for 8 hours a day until May. He is only 3 days younger than Evan so I now have a small glimpse into what it would be like to have twins! It took a couple days to get adjusted, but he's so well behaved that it's not bad at all!
