Funny. | Adam's Blog
https://adammcentyre.wordpress.com/2010/06/23/funny
Let's Be Friends! June 23, 2010. My main defense mechanism is to try to be funny. I feel that if I can make someone laugh, they will automatically like me. It’s just what I do. I am quite quiet around people that I don’t know. What is your defense mechanism? How do you respond to most people in everyday life? Posted by Adam McEntyre. One Response to “Funny.”. June 23, 2010 at 9:14 am. I would have to say being Sarcastic. Being funny and probably a little bit of being mean; mostly being sarcastic.

Joel Bridges' personal blog. I was strumming some chords with one of my students and I decided it would be good for him to write some lyrics to go with it, so he came up with some really good words, starting with “When the light of the Son comes shining down”. I asked if he meant “sun” or “Son” and he said “Let’s make it a church song”…. Thomas asked me, “Are you a Baptist? 8221; so I said, “I’m non-denominational”. When the light of the Son comes shining down on the precious land. Enter your comment here.

The next morning as they were leaving Bethany, Jesus was hungry. He noticed a fig tree in full leaf a little way off, so he went over to see if he could find any figs. But there were only leaves because it was too early in the season for fruit. Then Jesus said to the tree, May no one ever eat your fruit again! Mark 11:12-14, 20.

Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? | Even Adam
https://evenadam.wordpress.com/2011/04/19/eli-eli-lama-sabachthani
Joel Bridges' personal blog. Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? That is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? Jesus had to bear the weight and the wrath of our sin without His Father’s loving hand. He cried out, but no one answered. I feel just like Peter some times…I proclaim boldly how I would never deny Him, but then so quickly, in so many ways, I deny Him with my words, my thoughts, and my actions. But right now, I can almost see Jesus walking on the water, and I want to jump out of the boat and run to Him, with arms, legs, body and soul flailing…. Mark 14:27-31, 66-72, John 21:4-7. I think i...
