Saturday, January 11, 2014. After months of talking and planning we were finally at the cruise terminal and ready to depart! We have enjoyed our other Disney experiences and had high hopes that the cruise would also have the same Disney feel. it did not disappoint. We boarded the ship and quickly got settled in our room, headed for the pool and then to the castaway party on deck. It was fun to meet up with all of David's family. Sunday, December 9, 2012. Christmas Program on Wintry Day. This morning was the kids Church Christmas program. Amelia enjoyed picking out her dress this year. She is getting to be so big. Walking in carrying bells. The kids sang 2 songs and had several pre-recorded sessions they had done earlier. Samuel was a sheep and a camel, Amelia was an angel. Wednesday, March 13, 2013. It was a great trip to Florida with my whole family again this year! It felt like we had been waiting forever to go, since this time we booked back in November. Finally the day arrived and all 10 of us were on our way. Thanks to a 6:25am flight we arrived at our resort, Caribbean Beach with almost a full day to enjoy it. However, the weather was a bit cool for Florida (50's and windy) so we enjoyed walking around and playing at the parks. Animal Kingdom- Actually this was Day3.

Saturday, June 8, 2013. Treats&Feats.Kindergarten Wrap Up. Amelia's school does not do an official graduation, instead they invite the parents in to see the kids room and projects they have done. I was set to work that day, but was able to get off. My mom was down watching the kids while David was in Europe so she came along too. Sunday, August 10, 2014. We just returned from our annual Vesta cabin trip Heartwood resort in Wisconsin. This year we enjoyed. Wiffle ball in the yard. Slushies at the snack shack. Swimming, canoeing, and tubes at the lake. 2 river trips. one with kids in our canoe's and 1 adult only one in Kayeks. Trip to Hayward to famous dave's and go-carts. Thursday, April 10, 2014. This morning I'm sitting in my kitchen drinking coffee, paying bills, catching up on emails, and listening to music and I'm loving it! And the sense to feel settled back in, but that will come with time. They say remodels are stressful and that the kitchen is the worst. Overall I feel we did fairly well. As someone who likes order, plans, and tidiness this has stretched me. It has gone very well and I've learned how adaptable we can be. David getting ready to paint drywall.

Monday, August 19, 2013. August means it's time for our annual Vesta family cabin trip to Heartwood Resort in Wisconsin. We enjoy a week of swimming, canoeing, kayaking, river trips, and lots of sports! The weather was a bit cooler and partially cloudy, but we tried to make the most of it. I've only made a cheesecake once and it was not pretty. A good friend of mine walked me through these two step-by-step. And ta-da!
