For English, please click here! 二日市温泉 – 福岡市の奥座敷と昔から呼ばれる大宰府のすぐ隣町にある、九州最古の温泉。 今から1300年も前 奈良 – 万葉の時代 に開湯、当時中央にまで名が知られ、太宰府のお役人や僧侶たちが大勢入湯に来て、賑わっていたそうだ。 当時は、幕を張って入湯していたらしいが、浴槽はあったのだろうか どんな材料で 木材 石 人々は全部服をぬいで入湯したのか それとも肌着のようなものを着けて 何を使って髪や身体を洗っていたのだろう 想像はふくらむ。 728 – 730年とは古いものだ その頃はこの辺にツルが多くいたのだ。 三条実美が二日市温泉 当時は武蔵温泉 で詠んだ歌の歌碑も、湯町 大丸別荘付近 にある。
