Monday, May 14, 2012. How is this for cute? Here's Maddox at the base of Bridal Veil Falls. Here's Glen - he, of course, crawled out on the tree over the stream. Thursday, November 3, 2011. Actually, I love holidays, and all of the traditions that go along with them. In our family, Halloween traditions include:. Trip to the pumpkin patch. Maddox got to participate in a local tradition here where the kindergarteners go on a field trip to a local pumpkin patch to pick their pumpkin, then have a snack provided by the general store, and get a t-shirt. Tuesday, July 26, 2011. Well, we did it. The boys have been begging for mohawks (colored ones! For several months - we told them they could have one in the summer time. So. Tyler got out the clippers and the hair dye. The results were nothing short of spectacular. Here is my sweet boy, before. And, after. Glen chose a "bluish-greenish" color for his mowhawk - it was pretty cool! My theory is that if we give them permission to do this now, it won't be a rebellion later. I'll let you know how that goes.
