Wednesday, 27 January 2010. Embedding fixed.well.if you view on a screen as big as your tv). Saturday, 23 January 2010. Ok, we all know I'm a big kid when it comes to cartoons. This is one of my favourite ones, and it's intro really reminded me of what I want to achieve in my after effects. The way the building draws it's self in the beginning. I know the cartoon was done entirely in flash, not after effect but it's the effect I'm after. Too bad it got cancelled/I don't have cartoon network any more.

Friday, 3 December 2010. Born in 1988. Escaped the sunny clutches of central Florida to roam the slightly more grey city of Baltimore. Graduated magna cum laude from the Maryland Institute College of Art with a BFA in Illustration (2010). Spends days drawing, writing, or agonizing over past awkward social interactions that no one else remembers. Needs to find a less time-consuming way to render hair (but at least it looks nice). Would like to make things for your eyeballs. View my complete profile.

Tuesday, 16 March 2010. So, What Am I? Over the next few days I'll be emailing out my onoging graphic design portfolio to various companys and freelances. I wasn't too overlly fussed about it at first letting my pesemism get in the way of nerves. It wasn't until I recieved the first email back did my nerves start to kick in. You know that awful feeling in the pit of your stomach and the breathlessness? Yup, got that from an email. Sound advice, but what to make of it? I'm still learning. That's why I...

Saturday, 30 October 2010. I spent the whole day yesterday trying to figure out why the address wasn't forwarding to my own domain name. I assumed it would simply take a while to swap. Looked at it with a clear head this morning and realised I was forwarding it to an address that doesn't exist any more. Silly me. Friday, 29 October 2010. Edit: Registered www.Leighwortley.co.uk and forwarded it to my DA portfolio but it may take a few days to stick. (hopefully). Wednesday, 27 October 2010. So I keep forge...

Monday, 26 April 2010. Being shy will get you no where. This is one of my major problems. I do shy away when people tell me they like my work. I guess I just can't take compliments. Monday, 19 April 2010. Overall I have enjoyed the module and I hope to do more image based modules in the future. Final project for the Image Module. Editorial book design of five of my favourite novels. They all have a common theme of pure "oddness." I decided to collect these together in one handy collection, al...These are...

Friday, 25 February 2011. Questions for Design Context Book. Some proposed questions for my design context book that I am currently emailing out to designers and character designers. I won't send them all, and a few more questions need to be proposed. Some of the questions would be tailored to the designers I'm sending them too. How do you go about designing, and what goes through your mind, from start to end? What is a typical day for you, and who are the people you work with? If you're allowed to tell).
