These were shown at Mobile World Congress and will hopefully be used in some form for the upcoming GDC. So far doing demos professionally seems to be exactly like doing it at home; only now there is a budget to spend on stock 3d art and there’s typically some specific GLES API feature that takes focus. It comes in handy in those situations where tweaking or artist control is preferred over any kind of correctness in a fluid or gas simulation.
