Friday, 31 October 2008. Hello all, this is the first post on the ramshackle, make-do, stepping stone version of Games at Forgetoday.com. While we're still waiting for the website to go live properly, so in the interim we will be using this blog to cover our bases when it comes to news, reviews and features which cannot be contained on the flimsy analogue pages of the Forge Press. Games @ ForgeToday: Issue 5: Editorial
http://games-forgetoday.blogspot.com/2008/11/issue-5-editorial.html
Thursday, 27 November 2008. Every society has to have one thing to unite against to give a sense of strength. We gamers develop our strength, or at least used to, from infamous gaming bogeyman Jack Thompson. This week it seems someone pitied him and gave him a job. How abo...

So it is with certain pride that I can say having been cruelly overlooked in this year's regional pie-making championships. Two of our writers have only gone onto garner an 'honorable mention' at the online film festival of the ever respectable Escapist. For their latest filmic feature 'Coffin Fodder'! Thursday, 27 November 2008. Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts - X360 Review. 8216;Have you been playing for a while and still don’t like the vehicle based gameplay? Maybe you need to download Banjo-Kazooie from Xbox Live Arcade instead.’ Believe it or not, that statement actually appears on a loading screen in Nuts and Bolts, immediately creating the impression that Rare are edgy about what people will think of their newest Banjo creation. Games @ ForgeToday: There Can Be Only One!
http://games-forgetoday.blogspot.com/2009/02/there-can-be-only-one.html
Friday, 20 February 2009. There Can Be Only One! Well done to the lovely shiny people at Valve! After extensive polling we have found Sheffield student's game of the year to be -. The pie's are in the post. Good luck to anyone who tries to get in on the pies before Gabe Newell. The poll will remain open, mostly since we can't figure out how to take it down, but also partly to gauge popular opinion on last year's games as they mature over time. What will be the game of the year in six months time?
