We felt very blessed to have The Mr. home with us, and the time together as a family was the best gift any of us could have hoped for! Of course, we missed our distant relatives dearly, but were grateful to be able to skype them - thank you, modern technology, for bridging the gap and making holidays so much happier when you're far from family! Grins was super excited about his remote control helicopter!

A happy family is but an earlier Heaven". Sunday, February 15, 2015. Our little Wiggles turned 6. And what a celebration it was! Some of Wiggles favorite things:. Food: Mac and cheese. Toy: Ella the kangaroo. Movie: Frozen (of course! Thing to do: Play games or read. Wiggles elected to have a Frozen birthday party. We enjoyed Frozen crafts, games, sing-a-longs, food, and more! Angel got into it and dressed up as Olaf the snowman! Wiggles has become very good at reading on her own! How we love your family!

It's been ages since I posted a Menu Plan, but I like doing it for 2 reasons: First, it encourages me to get organized with my meal planning, and gives me some sense of accountability for following through, and second, it's fun looking back and finding what meals we've enjoyed over the years, and how our diet has changed (or what 'staples' have remained the same). Our kids love having fun, and we love them to run, so we jumped at the chance to participate! True to its title, it was a very fun event! I took about a million pictures of Wiggles warming up. She is just so cute! There she is at the starting line, awaiting the start of the race! Grins did an amazing job! He was third in his age group (see video below! Don't they look excited?
