3 Footings and Foundation. Tuesday, July 22, 2008. Well a lot has happened on the house the last almost 2 months! The framing, the roof, the plumbing, electrical and HVAC, the insulation, and drywall and mudding is now all done. The stucco is also in the process of getting done as well. Fun, Fun Fun! The last week has actually slowed down- the finish supplies- trim, doors, etc. hasn't come in and won't get in until Wednesday. Anyway, so after that is done we are going to paint! Drywall and mudding done.

He called me today saying that he thought the window above the garage would look better a foot bigger so asked if I wouldn't mind if he changed that! He had already framed it, and redid it just because he thought it would look better! Did I say how AWESOME he is? And his prices were already dang good to begin with! Looking down from a bonus area to the main floor. Can you find him?

After a week and a half, we were able to continue on- we had to wait until the lot was completely dried so that Earthtek could reexamine the dirt to see if it was still stable to build on. It was. The next step was the window wells and the damp proofing which Kaleb and Kayden especially liked. When they damp proof the cement, it leaves tar-like bubbles that are fun to pop! 3 Footings and Foundation. Saturday, April 26, 2008. Swimming Party at My House! Well, actually we don't have a house. . . just a pool! I came to our lot today expecting to take some boring pictures of the plumbing that was put in yesterday, buy boy was I wrong. Around the perimeters of the foundation there was a moat and then of course we have our pool as well. Had we actually hit water? But we had dug and never hit water and never had any water come in while it was sitting there for a week and a half!

Thursday, June 26, 2008. So on my mom's property there is a little stream that runs through it. Andrea was over here and we went by the stream and saw this large fish in there. We thought how cool we would be if we could catch it! But at the end, we concluded that it was indeed a dumb fish! By the way, we didn't eat it.
