I’m not sure if any teacher would benefit from a scripted curriculum. Eventually you are going to be put into a position where you need your own knowledge. I think if schools go to a scripted curriculum what would be the point of teachers going to school to learn to be a teacher? When they started the lesson I wasn’t remembering anything and when they finished the lesson I wasn’t remembering anything! I learned through these lessons that science can be taught in many different ways but hands on is definitely the best. I also learned that in order to teach science you definitely have to know what you are talking about.
