Sixteen Island Lake vs Videotron's Cell Tower. Videotron, please listen! We are greatly concerned by the current efforts by businessmen to place the short term interest of financial gain before the long term interest of our community, environment, and lake. By building this tower here, Videotron is showing that it is not in the least concerned about the goodwill of the local residents of Sixteen Island Lake. We respectfully ask Videotron to withdraw their plans to build a cell tower in our community.

There will be a special meeting June 4, 2011 at the municipal center in Lac des Seize Iles at 2:00PM. To vote on the zoning change necessary to build the cell tower (Regulation 118-10 Zone 9) on the mountain in the village. Your support is needed and your vote will count. Please plan on being there if at all possible!
