Saturday, October 26, 2013. Tea Room Victorian Filet and Lace Baby Blanket. I had so much fun designing and crocheting this filet and lace baby blanket pattern for a friend who likes tea rooms as much as I do. It took quite a bit longer than I had hoped but I wanted it to be perfect. I will get better photos before I send it off but couldn't wait to get at least something posted! My sweet niece loves Anna and when I found out she was going to see Disney on Ice featuring Frozen, I wanted to make her something to wear to the show and then to have for playing dress-up later on. I knew she needed a cape and set out to create one in crochet. As a bonus, I used things only from my "stash". (We won't talk about how big or small my "stash" might be.). Here is the PATTERN FOR THE CAPE. Toddler to small child size.

Wednesday, July 9, 2014. Sunflower Crocodile Stitch Doily Crochet. I was looking for a sunflower doily crochet pattern but couldn't find one that made me think "this is it." I saw several photos, but nothing that was exact. This was my first go. I would like to make a few changes to the outlying petals but I was pleased with the final result. I only made scribble notes as I went along, but will try to get them written up into an understandable pattern soon, in case anyone is interested.
