My Adventures Across The Pond. Tuesday, March 31, 2009. This semester, my roommate Hannah Lockheart did an internship up at the State Capitol. She is our little politician of the apartment! We went up to visit her and it was a lot of fun! She took us on a little tour and showed us how everything works up there. Hannah it was so fun coming to visit you! My Adventures Across The Pond. Thursday, April 30, 2009. Today we went to Westminster Abbey and went on an audio tour on the inside. Wow! It was so incredible! It's hard for me to comprehend how old a lot of these buildings are and how much history is in each one of them. London is full of awesome history! The outside of Westminster Abbey. My Adventures Across The Pond. Monday, May 25, 2009. This is leaving to catch our train. We made it safely! The chunnel was not as cool as I thought it was going to be because only 10 or 15 minutes were under water and the rest was like a normal train ride. It was fun though and we made it! I really was in PARIS! This is at the top with a beautiful view behind us! We went up there while it was dusk, so while we were at the top the tower was lit. It was GORGEOUS!
