Dancing in the Rain: August 2011
http://burnettdancingintherain.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
August 24, 2011. Nathan's first day of school was Tuesday. It was a rough day for all. He cried. He screamed. He asked for his mom and dad repeatedly. But he made it through his first day and his first bus ride home. His teacher's note from his first day:. Oh, boy. I thought we had our work cut out for us. So Nate and I talked A LOT that night about school and what to expect. And about being brave and not crying at school. Once he got off the bus he was all smiles. His note from today:. Nathan had a much.

http://burnettdancingintherain.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html

You should be aware that having a child with SB may cause increased motivation to help others, a new-found perspective in times of trial, a desire to enjoy the little things and commitment to change the way the world defines "disability". Studies show that raising a child with SB will induce strong feelings of gratitude for. I think that says it all. October 26, 2011.

Moonlit Wenis Crinkles: gusto ko ng manok
http://letsbeblount.blogspot.com/2010/05/gusto-ko-ng-manok.html
Start the Bubbly Dreams. Sunday, May 9, 2010. Gusto ko ng manok. I like to dream that if an acceptance package for Peace Corps ever arrives, it will be inviting me to the Philippines. Earlier, I blogged about Emmanuel running the marathon. Well Emmanuel taught me loads about the Filipino culture, and his mom taught me a dish or two. The following staples are seen at just about any Flip potluck, restaurant, or event. I decided to make them a couple weeks ago when I had some time on my hands. This time my ...

Moonlit Wenis Crinkles: 12/01/2009 - 01/01/2010
http://letsbeblount.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Start the Bubbly Dreams. Tuesday, December 29, 2009. Randy and I pulled over to play in the snow and look at an icy river after spending our second day skiing. I've never made a snow angel in such deep and powdery snow- yummy! Sunday, December 27, 2009. There is too much to talk about, too much to see. Hurricane is less than an hour drive from Zion, the Red Cliffs, old mining sites, abandoned mills with green and blue rocks, and Babylon Trail (The Sin City for silver miners) which has petroglyphs. I hunt...

I can't believe I am a quarter of the way through my pregnancy.I seriously feel like it was just yesterday that I found out we would be welcoming a new addition to our family! the Meiers: September 2009
http://amandameier.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
Josh, Amanda, Kiley Ann and Lily Adyson. Wednesday, September 30, 2009. Has it really been over one month since I last blogged? I thought I would post something today because if I didn't.I would have gone the whole month of September without blogging! I have had a hard time blogging lately! I have plenty to blog about but deciding rather or not to post it has been the issue! I am all about journaling but do I really want everyone reading it? This brings me to my "issue". I haven't decided for sure yet.

A Joyful Journey: December 2014
http://theholtsjourney.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Tuesday, December 23, 2014. We also received startling news that held much fear and trepidation. I would like to put a disclaimer in here, and clearly state that I am respectfully making this analogy. In no way do I equate Toby to Jesus. Just think about that. If you are a parent, God chose your children just for you, just as God chose His plan of redemption from the beginning of time. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). A Joyful Journey: Mobility and Independence
http://theholtsjourney.blogspot.com/2014/10/mobility-and-independence.html
Wednesday, October 15, 2014. Spina Bifida is a diagnosis with varying degrees. Some kids walk with very little bracing, some walk with more support and a walker or crutches, and some can't walk at all. The process of getting casted for braces can appear medieval in some ways, but it's painless, and doesn't take very long! Toby's also had a mobile stander that we purchased used to help him put weight on his legs. He loves it when we get him into it, but alas last week we sold it and passed it on to an...
