Thursday, April 19, 2012. Channa Masala - 1 cup soaked overnight. Onion - 1 medium. Green chilli - 2 nos. Fennel seeds - 1/2 tsp. Cinnamon - 1/2 inch. Cloves - 2 nos. 1 Heat oil and add all the spices(Fennel seeds, cloves, bay leaves, cinnamon) and fry till the aroma comes. 2 Add the chopped onion and fry it till golden brown. 3 Add ginger garlic paste and green chillies to it and fry it well. 4 Add chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt to it. 6 Add lemon juice to it and mix it well. Onion - 1 medium.

Sugar - 1/4 cup. 1 Pressure cook carrot and milk. 2 Fry cashews in ghee and keep aside. 3 Once steam gone, change the contents to pan. 4 Add sugar and cordomon powder and fry it till the milk dries. 5 Garnish with cashews. Raw rice or samba raw rice- 1 handful. Milk - 1 lt. Sugar - 250 gms. 1 Add rice,milk and sugar in pressure cooker. 2 Allow it for 1 whistle and keep in low flame for 25 mins. Sweet payasam is ready. Easy to prepare.

Oil - 1.5tsp. 1 Add Ghee and oil in the pressure cooker. 2 Add the spices and fry well. 3 Add onion and fry well till it becomes golden brown. 4 Add green chilli and fry it. 5 Meanwhile boil the water and keep aside. 6 Add rice and fry well in Fhee till all the rice become little crispy. 7 Once rice fried, add water and salt. 8 Allow it for 2 whistles. Green Chili - 2 (Slit them into 2 halves). Tamarind - 1 lemon sized ball. Chili Powder - 1 tbsp. Coriander Powder - 1.5 tbsp. Turmeric Powder - little. Mustard seeds - 1/4 tbsp. Fenugreek seeds - 1/4 tbsp. Cumin Seeds - 1/4 tbsp. Curry leaves - few. 1 Wash and clean the Nethili meen and remove the head. Note: Serve hot with rice.
