Cooking with Love and Gas: Say it with Bacon!!
http://cookingwithloveandgas.blogspot.com/2013/07/say-it-with-bacon.html
Cooking with Love and Gas. Monday, July 22, 2013. Say it with Bacon! Have you all seen the newest Oscar Meyer bacon commercial? It was a hit. I, however, didn't try it. Sunday morning bacon marshmallow was not appealing. Maybe when I joined the family, my adventuresomeness (totally not a word but I think it's fun) with bacon seems to be taking off. The icing on the cake had to have been Ray. I would love to be the book/coffee shop to her bakery someday! And you can't have cake without ice cream, right?

http://cookingwithloveandgas.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
Cooking with Love and Gas. Sunday, October 6, 2013. Stromboli: The Savory and the Sweet. It is finally feeling like fall in our little neck of the woods. I love fall. I also love baking in the fall. Today was begging for a little baking. And Frank and I both answered the call. He made a B&G breakfast pizza (aka Biscuits and Gravy Pizza) that we had for brunch - it was awesome. It will be posted later on the Ladies of Fiat. Here's what I did:. I followed the Simple Whole Wheat Bread Recipe. 3 tablespoons ...

Cooking with Love and Gas: August 2012
http://cookingwithloveandgas.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Cooking with Love and Gas. Thursday, August 23, 2012. One of the things I'm going to have to get used to about having a dog around is this early morning thing. Last year, I took after one of my friends/coworkers who goes to work out in the morning. The whole trying to work out between after school stuff and when my boyfriend (now fiance! Showed up around my house (and I wanted to look AND smell pretty) wasn't working for me. I found the beauty in early morning wake ups. Normal. But let me clarify (mo...

Cooking with Love and Gas. Saturday, September 22, 2012. I don't know why I thought engagement would be a great time to start a blog. Who has time for blogging? It's supper exciting but also finally feeling real! Some stuff has become a part of life. I have a dog. And a gun cabinet. But in a few weeks (crazy! There will be a boy living at my house. And I'll be a MRS! Especially since neither of us can be classified in any way as morning people. We'll have to invest in coffee! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Cooking with Love and Gas: Frank's Stuffed Burgers
http://cookingwithloveandgas.blogspot.com/2013/07/franks-stuffed-burgers.html
Cooking with Love and Gas. Wednesday, July 31, 2013. Frank is a fabulous grill master. That's why I named the blog, "Cooking with Love and Gas." (There's ocean front property in Arizona too! He smokes an amazing Pork Butt, we've made some excellent chicken and his steaks are fabulous. Our newest favorite, however, is the stuffed burger. We tried them on a visit to Omaha earlier this summer. They were awesome (and huge). Then we found a handy dandy burger stuffer thing (like this. Didn't have enough beef!

Cooking with Love and Gas: June 2013
http://cookingwithloveandgas.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html
Cooking with Love and Gas. Monday, June 17, 2013. There's been a huge onslaught in the decorating/etsy/pinterest world of what they call "Subway Art." I don't really get why they call it that. I've been on a few subways and I've never seen art quite that pretty. In Rome, there was definitely more graffiti. In D.C., there's really just not that much art. Regardless of what it's called, I like the outcome. Put it on older wood (say fence posts) and I totally dig it! My Daisy Ladies - All together! Family R...
