Texas Embassy, London. Having read some of the comments on the 'Big List' post, and contributed some myself, there seem to be mixed feelings about the Texas Embassy. A large Tex-Mex restaurant and bar just off Trafalgar Square. It's a whole onion, fanned out and battered, then deep fried, so you pick 'leaves' off and dip them in spicy garlic mayo. Delicious! Its already been broughten! Its already been broughten! Pinto Beans and Guacamole. My boyf grew up in Australia and his fave memory is going to the local Mexican place for "proper" food. I grew in SoCal and occassionally do miss a bit of this and that. For those who want to know how to turn Pinto Beans into Refried Beans:.
