Llantrisant and District Local History Society. The Society was formed in 1971 on the initiative of Mr Roy Denning to research and discuss the history of the area. After an uncertain start, membership stabilized at around 50. This has increased over the years and now stands at around 130 of whom half attend our meetings while most of the remainder are scattered widely around the UK.
