To the world you may be just one person, but to one person you may be the world" J. Billings. Monday, November 21, 2011. You Can Read, Can't You? The boys know that there are certain things that Mommy will not do with them, or for them. I do lots of things with them and for them, but there is a short list of Mommy's Untouchables:. Puzzles (I don't care how many pieces). Well, the other day, Jonah was begging me to put his transformer from the robot, back into a car. That's not gonna happen buddy.

Brandee's Blessings: January 2011
http://brandeesblessing.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Thoughts of a mom living a blessed, yet chaotic life. Monday, January 10, 2011. The year 2011 is starting off with a bang! I am guessing we got about 6-7 inches of snow. It was so beautiful! This was the first snow we've received that Jack hasn't been too sick to really get in it. We bundled up and went outside and BRRRR it was cold! The wind was almost unbearable. I must say this surpassed the snow in the order of exciting events for the day. Wow! Too bad I don't have some of those homemade marshmallows.

http://lilyandpatrick.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Monday, November 15, 2010. Just a little off the sides. Since I've had several weeks to recover, I can finally report on the "incident with the scissors". After playing in the yard one morning, the kids and I came in to get ready for some lunch. Martin was at the gym. I asked Lily to go to the bathroom to clean up, while I cleaned Patrick up in the kitchen and started on lunch. When she didn't return after a few minutes, I went to check on her. I said, "Lily, what are you doing? Friday, November 5, 2010.

http://lilyandpatrick.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
Wednesday, May 25, 2011. In the car on the way to school, Lily and Patrick were 'discussing' her purse, which I brought her from Sydney, Australia. P: unintelligible mumble with pointing. P: unintelligible mumble with pointing. L: It's a Koala, Patrick! Repeating above multiple times). No change in tone, which I think was part of the aggravation here). It's a KOALA, PATRICK! Stop asking the same question over and over and over again! Then about 1 mile farther down the road:. M: What's he saying? Because ...

Lily & Patrick: March 2011
http://lilyandpatrick.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Monday, March 21, 2011. That's Patrick at 8:40am on Sunday morning. My kids are quickly learning that Mom and Dad (ok mostly Mom) like to sleep in. We've been amazed at how late they sleep lately. Patrick usually wakes up in a good mood and plays in his bed for a while. Eventually he'll get bored and start to yell, not cry, YELL for us. Usually he says, "Daaaaada! Lily & Patrick: May 2010

Wednesday, May 19, 2010. I can't help but think, "Maybe Patrick's on to something." It could be that, in addition to tasting great, black beans are also beneficial to the skin, hair, nails, and the insides of the nose and ears. Could be. And this was just after the appetizer course. You can just imagine what he looked like after I gave him broccoli, salmon, and a little double chocolate brownie. There's a reason bathtime comes immediately after dinner at our house.
