My adventures in motherhood, homesteading, and learning to live with less. Sunday, December 12, 2010. A new week, a new goal! So, we've got that down. Yay! Tuesday: Glue and pasta. Wednesday: Paint the glue and pasta creation. Friday: Gluing shapes and colors. They're simple, easy ideas. I want to start slow. I'm also working on a writing project with a friend of mine, gardening (trying to grow our own veggies to save money), trying to learn to knit (slow going, that one), and sewing. Lots to do and almost no time! I'm trying to make sure that, no matter what, Wesley still gets the majority of my attention. We play, cuddle, and nap. We just bought a swing for our patio and it's been so wonderful! Go, Dog, Go!

I got especially leery of allergy medicines while I was pregnant. My adventures in motherhood, homesteading, and learning to live with less. Sunday, July 17, 2011. Raw Week, Day 1. So I've decided to adhere to a raw vegan diet for one week. Today is day one. I should lay out my goals and expectations first:. If I find food that I enjoy, I'm hoping to eat 75% raw vegan on a daily basis. Here is what I DO NOT expect. I don't expect to lose 50lbs or 6 dress sizes. I don't expect to want to become 100% raw vegan at the end of the week. And an awesome ginger lime dressing.

Listen I support them but if I chose not to put bp or exxon gas in my gas tank that’s my choice and I have other places to choose from and do and while doing that I am supporting other small businesses.
