Saturday, 19 May 2012. Our neighbour, of some 30odd years, is leaving to move up north to Grantown on Spey. Going to really miss him. I just wanted to make a card which reflected his move up there. I had a pack of 'Scottish' stamps, which have been in the drawer for about 2yrs! And this is the first time I've used them, shocking eh! He loved this and I was so pleased. Hope you do too. The babblings of senility. Saturday, February 25, 2017. The Road by Cormac McCarthy - A Review. Mr McCarthy does an excellent job of creating a post-apocalyptic world. However, I would have liked to have just a little more emotion (getting in the characters' heads). But then again, given the circumstances of the story, it's understandable how there wouldn't be much emotion left in the characters. Don't get me wrong. There IS emotion.
