(It's been a busy two months.). We just got back (last night) from 4 days in New York, and we're married now! The wedding reception is next weekend in San Jose. Anyways, I don't have time right this second to recap everything from our week, but I will later on sometime. 2004-10-09 01:47 pm (UTC).

Good god, what a dull book. - a perfect day for bananafish. This is Nothing Special. Good god, what a dull book. Aug 5th, 2004 11:28 am. A few days back, at a thrift store (Savers) in San Jose, I got (among other things) a book I had never heard of, that was probably not very good (any book with two. Authors stands a fairly good chance of sucking to some degree), but that nonetheless intrigued me with its initial (from when it was a new book) selling gimmick. Thingthis "Who Killed the Robins Family" thin...

the compulsions of the alphabetic set (part I) - monologue

The compulsions of the alphabetic set (part I). March 16th, 2005. It is so simple and yet overwhelming. I hear the sound deep in my head in all the moments when I'm just too fed up with how complex and crazy everything gets some days, the sound of mechanical linkages and levers in action, stirring the hammers into motion, beating the words into being against a ribbon and rubber roller. Or the subtle, well-oiled magic touch of a grey and turquoise Olympia SM7. And set about changing the whole world. And s...

We're at my grandparents' house today. Hazel's playing in the back - a perfect day for bananafish. This is Nothing Special. Jul 28th, 2004 01:47 pm. We're at my grandparents' house today. Hazel's playing in the back room, and is about to eat some Lipton Noodle Soup (or "Clifford Soup", as she calls it), which I myself used to adore when I was pre-school age. She also made a cake earlier, which will be dessert (or is it desert? I never get that right) tonight after dinner. She seems to enjoy watching Haze...

A Tale of Two Gourmets - a perfect day for bananafish

A Tale of Two Gourmets - a perfect day for bananafish. This is Nothing Special. A Tale of Two Gourmets. Jul 9th, 2004 03:49 pm. Died today. And I was kinda curious who he was, since even though I knew the name, I couldn't put a face to him. So I clicked on a link to an article about his death. And I found out that a scandalous incident that I thought happened to the Galloping. Actually happened to the Frugal. Who was the creepy molester. I guess I just mixed up the two TV Gourmets.
