A Two-Woman Journey Through Infertility To Motherhood. Many have asked that I write a key on all of the trying to conceive blog abbreviations, so here it is. TTC= Trying to conceive. TWW= Two week wait (the time after ovulation when waiting to test). DPO= Day post ovulation. DPIUI= Day past IUI. DP5DT or DP3DT= Days Past 3 or 5 Day Transfer (used when doing IVF or FET). FET= Frozen Embryo Transfer. CP/CT= Cervical position and cervical texture. AF= Aunt flow (menstrual cycle). Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

During the 13 months of TTC we conceived 4 times and had 4 consecutive early miscarriages, also known as ‘Chemical Pregnancies’. We are both in our late 20’s, have been happily married since September 2013 and live in the San Francisco Bay Area. Took a break from charting due to stress of wedding planning. Kate and I got legally married and went on our honeymoon. Started charting again, started acupuncture, chiropractic and massage. January 2014 – second IUI with Follistim – unsuccessful. February 2014 – third IUI with Follistim – SUCCESSFUL. April 2014 – miscarried @ 9 weeks. May 2014 – sonohystogram – everything looks good.
