Tuesday, October 23, 2012. TV, Hot Dogs, and A Good Lesson. Get rid of that feeling that I must run for my life if I am going to make it to stair 16? Brilliant. You may think I am talking about things like politics, or deep rooted beliefs.but I am talking about the more simple things in life. Here is my list of things I am discovering. Bring on the classics. I am very pro-happy movies right now. How is this a change? Life is too happy! I am excited about it now. I love me some hot dogs! That being pregna...

The Newman's: March 2013
http://nateandlindseynewman.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Monday, March 25, 2013. I have put off my blog for a little bit now because i didn't want to blog again until I had really exciting, "I'm not pregnant anymore! Kind of things to blog about. Sadly, as this is not the case, I thought I'd write down a few last thoughts before little girl arrives. Being 38 weeks and 2 days pregnant with your second child, you start to grow weary of waiting. How long do you have to pray for patience until it actually starts to stick? I have no such hopes for this child sadly&...

The Newman's: November 2012
http://nateandlindseynewman.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
Tuesday, November 20, 2012. So in one of my previous posts upon our arrival in Concord, I think I mentioned going to a city festival. I thought I would share a few pictures and expound on how much I loved the Maynard Festival! Maynard in our neighboring town, and each fall they have a city festival. Here are a few snapshots of us enjoying it so much. Me trying to follow my funny little guy all over town. Is eating a lollipop on someone's shoulder a really bad idea? Things like Maynard Fest make me feel m...

The Newman's: January 2013
http://nateandlindseynewman.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
Wednesday, January 30, 2013. But little did I know I'd be trading in this seemingly great husband/wife experience for even more smiles, laughter, kisses, hugs, tender moments, blessings, and a deeper relationship with my Heavenly Father while I cared for one of his special children. Little did I know that my heart could contain so much love for such a little person! Or that I could feel so successful and fulfilled! Carter is such a cute little helper! He always helps put the silverware into the dishwashe...

The Newman's: A Historical Rampage
http://nateandlindseynewman.blogspot.com/2013/06/a-historical-rampage.html
Monday, June 10, 2013. You know those places that on a rough day or when you need time to think, you escape to? Just because that certain place makes you feel happy, peaceful, or relaxed? I never thought I'd be able to say this, but Nate and I escape to the "Old North Bridge". A national monument! Brilliant. We've also taken the whole fam for a picnic. I like to run around this area, and it feels so quiet and beautiful. Something else about this place is so mystical! In 1837 on July 4th, Ralph Waldo Emer...

Sunday, November 3, 2013. The Big Half Marathons. It's hard to believe these big events have already come and gone for me! You spend months and months running your butt off (quite literally) for one day of glory. And oh is it glorious. This year, my life has been all about long term goals. Meeting any kind of goal is such a good feeling! But when you actually decide to be that person and make it happen, it's a lot easier said than done! One of Nate's trophies.yow. The finish line and the sun in our eyes.

The Newman's: August 2013
http://nateandlindseynewman.blogspot.com/2013_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 12, 2013. Warning: No Picture Post. Read at Your Own Risk. I am training for a half marathon. Two actually. My first. For me this is a big deal! I started my training feeling like an ice cream junky that has had two kids and doesn't actually want to be out running after she's been up a lot of the night with kids and chasing them during the day. I would get to the gym and after a half mile, I was shocked at my mind's desire to quit and lack of conviction! It's harder to start after you've s...

The Newman's: A Birthday
http://nateandlindseynewman.blogspot.com/2013/06/a-birthday.html
Tuesday, June 18, 2013. Ever heard the phrase, "baking a cake can be sentimental? Well this year I learned baking a cake can be a lot of things. A mess, a project, a pain in the rear, and yes-surprisingly sentimental. Maybe it's that I've birthed two kids and my emotions are shot. I cry at the drop of a hat at anything the least bit moving it would seem. You know those "adopt a puppy, and save a life" commercials? Where did the time go? My sweet baby moo, growing up so fast? Now for the decorations!
