He · rage · of · 1000 · suns, · the · light · of · a · million · stars. Chez Lang, and Howe! Adventures in the ancestral homeland! My mother, who had an endless supply of proverbs and standard expressions, always said better late than never. So:. After more than 13 years in this neighborhood. After five years in this apartment. After nearly two and a half years with Bob. Bob and I are taking the ultimate plunge. We’re combining book collections. And now, I’m overdue for a much-needed nap! On November 25t...

December 3rd, 2008. Amanda Fox passed away today. She has spent the last year recovering from an aorta replacement. She turned 30 yesterday and the world is a much shittier, less funny place without her. Eat some stinky cheese, raise a glass and make someone laugh. Okay, this is an absolutely shameless ploy to get YOU, the fine and queer readers of this here LiveJourbnal, to help ME get my awesome friend Liz Scheier voted on as the Hottest Hottie in Publishing. Only kidding, but I've always wanted to write that heading. I think it's the definitive internet title. Been a long time since I've been in here. I've been feng shui-ing (not a comfortable word, that) all my various blogs, web sites etc, clearing them out in preparation for Volume 2 of my book, DANNY, coming out. Whatever ( in Exile ). For when I break my Movable Type. Because It's a Shame Not to Have Them Up. August 19th, 2007. The pictures of the newly-groomed Kodi that were on the Whatever earlier today:. Incidentally, all the Whatever entries, etc., are still up on the Whatever; they're all static pages, so they didn't go away when I deleted the MT install. However, they do lack some formatting and you can't post comments. That's the way these things go. 2007-08-19 04:49 am (UTC). 2007-08-19 04:51 am (UTC).
