My deadly sins... shoot, sew, scrap: Nippori Textile Town
http://ohsinchan.blogspot.com/2010/12/nippori-textile-town.html
Nippori Textile Town is also another paradise for crafters. Imagine a street on both sides of the road selling fabrics, laces, buttons, zips, beads etc! And they are cheaper than in Shinjuku. JR station is located 1 stop after Ueno. If you are in Shinjuku, it is faster to take the JR Chuo line and change at Akihabara or you can just take the Yamanote line towards Ikebukuro. Exit at the South exit. Welcome to Nippori Textile Town! There are many signs around leading you to the town. This is an English map.

My deadly sins... shoot, sew, scrap: August 2010

Camera pouch - Candid Strawberry. My dear scrapbooking friend, Yanni asked me to make a camera pouch for her Fujifilm Instax Mini25. This strawberry fabric is one of my favourite! This pouch is padded and I added a tab at the side for her to hook up a strap or dangling Hello Kitty or bells etc. Hope she likes it! I like this and might make one for myself when my Instax Mini25 arrives from Japan. Yes! After seeing her camera, I was tempted and went online to buy one too! My nephew is now a Little Botak!

My deadly sins... shoot, sew, scrap: September 2010
http://ohsinchan.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
I am finally going for holiday! It was a last minute decision, just when I was getting quite fed up of staying at home! I want to go somewhere cool, relaxing, not too expensive, where I can take photos. Though I studied in Australia in my uni days, I have never been to Western Australia. It will be hubby's 1st trip to Australia so I decided to go to a city where both of us have not been before. He is very excited! He wants to see the animals so I plan a trip to one of the wildlife farm. My 1st flea market.

My deadly sins... shoot, sew, scrap: Shinjuku - Natural Kitchen
http://ohsinchan.blogspot.com/2010/12/shinjuku-natural-kitchen.html
Shinjuku - Natural Kitchen. One of my favourite store in Japan is Natural Kitchen. A store that sells lots of cute things ranging from household goods to little knick knacks. This store is also highly recommended by my Japanese friends! Almost everything is only JPY100 with the exception of larger items at JPY300 and above. Look at the latest shop decor showing on their website. All ready for Christmas! 2 Walk towards Odakyu department store. 4 Go up along Mosaic Street to reach Mylord. You won't miss it!

My deadly sins... shoot, sew, scrap: Happy 2nd anniversary!
http://ohsinchan.blogspot.com/2010/11/happy-2nd-anniversary.html
Today is our 2nd wedding anniversary! But it is just a normal day for me, just that hubby is home today, not on leave but on MC! He had a very bad backache and headache and slept till noon. He continued to sleep after he came back from the doctor. We initially planned to go out and eat steak for dinner but in the end we just had takeaway food. Yes I didn't even bother to cook. So romantic huh! We didn't buy presents for each other but I made him this card. Can you feel it oozing with love and sweetness?

My deadly sins... shoot, sew, scrap: A busy week
http://ohsinchan.blogspot.com/2010/12/busy-week.html
It has been a busy week! Very happy to keep myself occupied and I feel useful! Orchard Road area is a no-no these few days. So crowded with people and cars! It will be worse next week! I met up with my ex-colleague Sayaka yesterday to collect my 2011 diary from her. I ordered it online and it was sent wrongly to her house instead of another colleague's house. Her mum then sent the diary to Sayaka's colleague who was in Japan for a business trip. So I troubled 4 people just for this diary! Is a fan of.

Wishful Thinking: June 2012
http://poppies73.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Thursday, June 14, 2012. Last catch up for a while . Quickly doing this before we head off to the land of ice and snow! In the words of Barney hehee). Hopefully it won't be that bad, but it will feel a lot chiller than here no doubt! Finished the mini albums for Aaron's teachers this year - the kids did the inside pages. They did a great job. Got this idea off Pinterest. And Lyndon carved it for Aaron's end of year school party on Monday :-) The kids were absolutely thrilled. Sunday, June 10, 2012. On th...

Friday, August 30, 2013. 7th and Last Week - 29th July to 3rd August 2013. Our holiday seemed to go really quick! 7 weeks seems like a while, but it sure came round fast to this last week! This week Lyndon flew to Auckland for work early Monday morning. Maddison and I took him to the airport. Aaron and Samuel stayed home with Nana and Grandad. Here they are having their breakfast and reading the news in front of the fire! On her first day they had lunch on the patio in the sun :-). She had a super time a...
