Young Men’s Choir. La Jeunesse Choir is a dedicated and respected charitable organization, run by our Board of Directors. Whose mission is to support, share and celebrate the diverse musical talents of Northumberland’s youth. Since its inception in 1988, La Jeunesse Choir has provided its members with the highest possible caliber of musical experience and training. Many of our alumni. Have gone to enjoy successful musical careers, including the renowned folk music trio, The Good Lovelies.

Young Men’s Choir. La Jeunesse Choirs is comprised of four performing groups:. Each group enjoys it’s own weekly rehearsal. However they perform together, having an opportunity to showcase their repertoire and to collaborate with one another. In addition to performing, they also make professionally engineered recordings. All four groups operate at the highest musical and performance standards. To maintain its level of excellence, entry into any of the La Jeunesse Choirs is by audition only.

Young Men’s Choir. The Children’s Choir was created because La Jeunesse saw a need for proper vocal training for children aged 7 to 12. The basics of musical theory are taught in an entertaining and effective style. As choristers mature and develop their voices, Artistic Director Markus Howard “graduates” the girls to Senior Choir and the boys to the Young Men’s Choir. Sung with The Oriana Singers and opened, along with The Senior Choir, for the Nylons. Designed by Elegant Themes.
