Western Hidalgo County Politics. Wednesday, October 24, 2007. A few months back I was having a very interesting discussion with some acquaintances in D.C. or Austin, or maybe it was a bar in McAllen. The Light: La Joya ISD School-Board Mess
http://abrandnewview.blogspot.com/2007/10/la-joya-isd-school-board-mess.html
Western Hidalgo County Politics. Monday, October 22, 2007. La Joya ISD School-Board Mess. The bus issue in La Joya is a bit complex and completely overdone. I completely agree with the Board's decision to remove busing within the 2 mile radius (Arturo Gonzalez and Valente Alaniz were also in favor of this) a few years ago, EXCEPT for those living in hazardous areas that could pose a threat to the child. Transportation should be provided to children living in these areas. November 1, 2007 at 11:08 AM.
