Jackson County Airport is close to I85 Exit 140 about an hour north of down town Atlanta. At exit 140 turn right onto Dry Pond road. Follow Dry Pond road until it makes a sharp right turn (a mile or so), after the turn take the right fork onto. At the T junction turn right - you will see the airport on the left. Look out for the Gresham Motor Sports Park sign and turn left onto Lyle Field road - there is a green airport. Port sign pointing left. You’ll see the aircraft parked - easy to recognize.

The world outside our window. Monday, August 3, 2015. It was a short but elegant vacation. Outside the world was catching a glimpse of Pluto and preoccupied by two meltdowns: a hot summer and the Greek economy. But nestled in the Tyrolean Alps, the only thing melting was the glacier we were skiing on. There was something about this part of the world that made this little Parisian triumvirate feel particularly comfortable. What was it? Was it the hills alive with the sound of music?
