http://ridingwithdave.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Chronicles Of Memorable Rides. Friday, June 24, 2011. The scenery on both days was beautiful. Here is yet another glacier along Rte 1. This snow-covered mountain was very impressive. We spotted this big guy on Friday a bit west of Delta Junction. He was feeding on something on the bottom of the pond. On Saturday, while we were en-route to Haines, the girls amused themselves with a tour of Juneau and the Mendenhall Glacier six miles north of town. Little Buddy met two new friends on this trip…Chucky...

http://ridingwithdave.blogspot.com/2014/01/crocodiles-matadors-and-roman-coliseum.html
Chronicles Of Memorable Rides. Sunday, January 26, 2014. Crocodiles, Matadors, And A Roman Coliseum? Are We Still In France? Welcome to Nimes, only 200 km from our starting point in Millau on this morning, but a world apart in terms of ambiance. We took the long way around in order to visit the Gorges of the Tarn (point B on the map), but still arrived early enough to settle into the hotel and then take a walking tour of the city. It might be because soldiers of the Roman Legion who participated in the N...

Our first stop of the morning of June 21 was the village of Angles-sur-l'Anglin for a coffee break and a view of the ruins of an 11th century castle. Originally constructed for the Bishop of Poitiers. The village and the ruins are on the banks of the l'Anglin River. The gang, sans moi. Carole, you are shooting from the wrong angle. Chronicles Of Memorable Rides. Monday, October 18, 2010. In Memphis, TN! That's Desiree in the white cap and jacket behind the counter and also her picture on the banner. Since we only managed to eat at one Triple-D establishment on this ride, I'm glad it turned out to be Cozy Corner and that we got to experience a Memphis institution and meet Desiree Robinson. Here are some photos from the trip without a whole lot of boring words. UT 95 north of Glen Canyon. Inspiration Point in Bryce Canyon. One approa...

Chronicles Of Memorable Rides. Tuesday, September 22, 2009. Little Buddy Missing In Action. I had no Internet. Last night at the Sand Dollar Motel on Ocracoke. Island, NC, or you would have already heard how sad and blue, morose and depressed I was all afternoon yesterday. Little Buddy disappeared. Sometime Monday morning. Riding With Dave: January 2014
http://ridingwithdave.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html
Chronicles Of Memorable Rides. Sunday, January 26, 2014. Avignon, City Of Popes. Avignon would be the last stop on our French motorcycle adventure. It was a short ride from Nimes, so we had plenty of time along the way for a stop in the medieval village of Beaux de Provence, another of France's designated Most Beautiful Villages. This was a stop to look at an olive orchard on the outskirts of Beaux de Provence. The Pont du Gard is an amazingly intact three-tiered Roman aquaduct/bridge that spans the Rive...
